The Logan County Healthcare Foundation hosted the 7th Annual Fall Gala Fundraiser; along with recognizing the 30 years the Healthcare Foundation has been serving Logan County on Saturday, November 4th, at the Buffalo Bill Cultural Center. The evening began at 6:00 p.m. with the Silent Auction and the Appetizers served by 21 High School Students who volunteered their time to serve at the Gala. Dinner was served at 7:00 p.m. and the delicious meal, the appetizers and dessert were all catered by Webbs BBQ. Following dinner, Marti Engel, Director of the Logan County Healthcare Foundation, gave a short presentation sharing the highlights of the Healthcare Foundation’s past 30 years and recognizing the most recent scholarships and equipment purchases made this past year. The finale to the evening was celebrating the 30th Birthday of the Healthcare Foundation, enjoying cupcakes made by Janet Zerr, participating in the Live Auction of the Cocktail Cart donated by Farmers State Bank, the drawing for the 1 oz. Gold Bar going to the Raffle Ticket Winner Justin Polifka, and The Colorado Keys Dueling Pianos performing. We greatly appreciate The Colorado Keys for coming to Oakley and entertaining us! The Healthcare Foundation would like to thank everyone from individuals to businesses who purchased tickets, donated money, purchased items in the silent auction, donated items in the silent auction, purchased raffle tickets, and attended the Fall Gala. It is because of all of you the event was a success and we greatly appreciate each and every one of you who donated and supported our evening!
The Healthcare Foundation Board of Directors would like to thank the Staff at the Buffalo Bill Cultural Center for all their help and support. Brook and Megan were awesome to work with at BBCC! The Board of Directors wishes to thank all of our In-Kind Sponsors; Dana Steiger at Everything’s-a-Bloomin for the beautiful flower arrangement, Hannah Herzog for the decorative signs, Jenn Baalman for the delicious specialty drink, Tallgrass Liquor for the donation of the ice and coolers, and Cristy Park for donating her time as our photographer for the evening. Twenty-one students helped all evening as servers and we would like to recognize them for being outstanding Servers; Ace Plummer, Carter Krier, Easton Fink, Daysha Allison, Kaylee Fink, Kasira Repshire, Connor Stephenson, Mariah Mildenberger, Ivan Jirak, Kylee Maxfield, Jade Kahle, Jantz Lowrie, Jocelyn Ritter, Ansley Moellering, Audrey Holzmeister, Madi Crotts, Karli Krier, Bella Hudson, Aubree Dinges, Nathan Weber, and Cody Polley. We would like to especially thank all of the Fall Gala Committee Members for all their time they donated to make the event so special!
